Mr. Singhania has more than 30 years of experience in varied sectors including Textile, Media & Entertainment, Agriculture etc. He is a General Partner at Enarr Venture Capital Fund, a proposed hybrid structure venture capital fund investing in start-ups.
Mr. Singhania is now setting up a Singapore based Media and Entertainment Company which will be investing into Hollywood and Bollywood Films for which a team and line of projects is being set in place. Mr. Singhania has been closely connected with Bollywood since the last three decades in his Individual capacity.
His qualifications include a graduate in Commerce from the University of Mumbai and post graduation in Marketing and Finance from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Mr. Singhania has acquired Technical skills and knowledge in Textiles, Import-Export, Human Relations and others through Short Term Courses, on various platforms.
Mr. Singhania is well travelled globally and has been a Chair / Co Chair / Speaker / Panelist at various events since his early days.
Mr. Singhania’s love for philanthropy and value education has been inherited through a family legacy filled with compassion and humanity.
He is the Managing Trustee and Founder of The Nana Nani Foundation which works for the care and cause of the elderly. He is the Managing Trustee of K. P. Singhania Trust which provides Medical Services & Education. Mr. Singhania was a Board Member of Indian Seamen’s Hospital at Tilbury Port, London, UK which is now being dismantled for new development. He is a member on the Board of The Bombay Hospital Trust and a founder member of The Golden Maharashtra Development Council since March ’14.
He has pioneered the concept of Public-Private Initiatives for the BMC’s Beautification Programme in Mumbai and was instrumental in the initial drive of the Girgaum Chowpatty’s Beautification in the early 2000 which included Beautification of many local Police Stations etc alongwith Hon’ble Ex-Minister Shri Pramod Navalkar.

Mr. Jitender Bhargava, was Executive Director of Air India till January 31, 2010. In his over two decades with Air India, 13 years of which were at the level of Executive Director dealing with various departments such as: In-flight Service, Human Resources Development Department, and Corporate Communications.
As the public face of Air-India, both in the print and electronic media, for over two decades, Mr. Bhargava had been extraordinarily articulate. Being fluent in English and Hindi, he earned acclaim for successfully putting across Air India’s point of view, very eloquently and emphatically in the media. His communicative skills, knowledge and understanding of the aviation industry came to the fore in full glory whenever there were issues to be projected or defended, which he did with equal panache.
Mr. Bhargava commenced his career in 1970 as a journalist concurrently working with the All India Radio and The Hindustan Times. He subsequently worked in the editorial and public relations department of leading private sector companies – Crompton Greaves, Mumbai and Goodyear India Limited, Delhi, before joining the public sector monolith Coal India Limited in 1977, where he worked for twelve years. He joined Air India in 1989. Mr. Bhargava thus has experience spanning four decades.
He has recently authored a book, ‘The Descent of Air India’, detailing the
Decline of the national carrier from an iconic airline to being virtually grounded. In view of his in-depth knowledge of the aviation sector, he is a familiar face on Indian television for commenting on civil aviation issues. He also writes frequently for various national newspapers and magazines.
Regarded as an efficient and innovative officer, his services were requisitioned by the Government of India in 1982 for organizing the IX Asian Games in New Delhi. His meritorious services were duly recognized when he was conferred with the ‘Asiad Jyoti’ award by the President of India.
An alumnus of the University of Delhi from where he graduated in Science, Mr. Bhargava completed a Diploma course in Journalism from Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi. He 1986, he underwent a ten-week management program in UK under the Colombo Plan to hone his management skills.
Mr. Bhargava has been a recipient of numerous awards, including:
1. The Presidential Award ‘Asiad Jyoti’ for meritorious services rendered for successful conduct of the IX Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982, where he was in-charge of Accommodation Directorate and the two events – Rowing and Yachting, held outside Delhi.
2. The” PR Man of the Year” Award in 1999 from the Public Relations Society of India;
3. Effective Communicator in a Crisis Situation” Award from the Association of Business Communicators of India in 2004
4. “PR Man of the Year” Award in 2006 by the Pacific Area Travel Writers’ Association, Berlin
5. “Hall of Fame in PR” award presented by the Public Relations Council of India in March 2008
6. “Communicator of the Decade” award from the Association of Business Communicators of India in November 2008.
Mr. Bhargava is also associated with various academic, business and social organizations viz. Public Affairs Asia, Hong Kong, as an adviser and jury member for Gold Standard Awards; as Co-Chairman of the Transport Committee of the Indian Merchants’ Chamber, Mumbai; as an Academic Council member of the Institute of Marketing & Management, New Delhi.
Mr. Bhargava with his accomplished communication and management skills also lectures regularly at various academic institutions, seminars and conferences.

He holds the position of Director, Chairman of Membership Committee and Member of Training Committee at Association of Credit Rating Agencies in Asia (ACRAA), Manila, Philippines. He is a public interest Director (approved by SEBI) on MCX-SX, Member – FICCI Maharashtra State Council and member of WR Economic Affairs Sub-Committee of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
He is also an Expert Member of the Academic Advisory Committee in Finance Area, Birla Institute of Management Technology and on Board of Governance of Universal Business School, Mumbai.

Dr. Kavita began her career as a Research Scientist with Alchemic Research Centre, a part of the British Multinational– Imperial Chemical Industries Ltd (ICI). She later moved to Hindustan Lever Research Centre where she gained valuable research experience. After 5 years in the industry, she shifted to academics and joined Sathaye College, then known as Parle College in 1983. She has now over 30 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is also the Co-coordinator of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Centre at Sathaye College
In 2004, Sathaye College underwent Accreditation process of National Assessment and Accreditation
Council (NAAC) under her stewardship and were awarded an ‘A’ grade. In 2011, they were awarded ‘A’ grade yet again after reassessment. As a Member Coordinator of the Peer Team of NAAC, Dr. Kavita has been involved with assessments of colleges in Kerala, Karnataka, AP, Bihar, Jharkhand, UP, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Paschchim Bangal. In 2004, the College won the Best Institution Award of NCERT for its +2 level vocational course. Dr. Kavita was also responsible for starting a Centre for the Institute of Distance Education of the University of Mumbai at Sathaye College. She was a member of the Delegation of Principals lead by the Sheriff of Mumbai which visited universities in UK along with the Vice Chancellor in 2008. She is regularly invited to join the academic delegation of Principals of South Asia by the German Government and Goethe Institute for visits to Germany, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
During the College’s Golden Jubilee Year in 2008-09, Dr Kavita organized over 50 major programmes where the Governor, two Chief Ministers and other ministers honoured the College by their presence. In 2009, the Chief Minister, in appreciation of the work being carried out by the College, awarded the College Rs 50 lakhs from his fund. During the Golden Jubilee year, Dr Kavita also built a new theatre in the College which has gained popularity with experimental theatre and film enthusiasts, fulfilling a long felt community need. In May 2009, under her leadership, the College organized a ‘Bharat Jodo’ cycle rally from Mumbai to Jammu to express solidarity with victims of terrorists’ attack on Mumbai.
Dr Kavita has taken keen interest in all facets of student life in her college. Her interests include reading, badminton, writing, films, art & craft, etc. She is Chairperson of the University’s Volleyball Committee. She has also been a member of the Film Censor Board. She is a member of the selection committees of Keshav Srushti Puraskar Samiti, Maharashtrache Mankari of CBD Foundation, Sevavrati Puraskar of Manohar Sathe Foundation. She has been on the Jury Board of the French multinational- L’Oreal for grant of scholarship to needy students in India. She was on the Advisory board of Lokmanya Sewa Sangh.
She is happily married to Shirish who was the Regional Director- South Asia of Datacard Corporation,
USA. She is blessed with 2 children -Priya and Rohun. Dr Kavita has also been counsellor to many foreign students on IYE exchange. Currently, she is the District Chair-Thrust Area II- BMC/ TMC Schools for Rotary District 3140.
